Flashing Green Lights And What They Mean

Flashing green lights help other drivers recognize that volunteer firefighters have been called to an emergency. Firefighters use the lights when they are on their way to a scene directly or heading to the fire station to respond in a fire truck.
If you are driving and see a vehicle behind you or oncoming with a flashing green light, you should slow down and yield the right-of-way to them. Pullover if safe to do so and allow them to pass.
Remember, every minute matters in an emergency.
