BEV Lithium-Ion Fire & Explosion Awareness Course

In partnership with Firehouse Training, the FFAO is sponsoring a BEV Lithium-Ion Fire & Explosion Awareness Course at the Ontario Fire Academy, August 18th, 2024. The course per person cost is $245 + HST for non-members and $200 + HST for members.

This hands-on training program will cover hazard and risk awareness for Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Applications, Lithium-Ion Battery Safety Practices, Explosion Hazard Awareness, and current firefighting tactics tailored to this evolving technology.
Join us for hands-on training with electric motor vehicles, learn about safety procedures and tactics for handling FIRE & HAZMAT emergencies. Fire Service personnel and equipment distributors from Canada and the USA will be present.

Receive a certificate of completion to the updated NFPA Standard and Industry Best Practices.
